24 Mar 2016 Procom Middle East and K-array held a two day training on the 12th and 13th of March on K-array professional sound systems in Procom’s showroom in Dubai. The event came as a kick-start for the recent distribution partnership between K-array and Procom. Main brand partners in the region attended the training, which was carried by Francesco Maffei and Leonardo D’Andrea from K-array. The training was followed by an open day for clients’ discussion with the Italian manufacturer. The program included a detailed training on the install speakers, portable systems, concert systems and their electronics. It also introduced Ease Focus 3 and its new FIRmaker sound optimization tool that allows for the automatic generation and importing of FIR filters into K-array’s concert system. “K-array products can effectively cover a wide range of applications. The product is sophisticated yet simple to use. They are phenomenal sounding speakers that will please interior designers as well as lovers of great sound. Overall they look good and sound great,” said Mike Demetriou from Procom. K-array’s most recent installation took place at the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority (FCMA), which invested in the KR402 portable sound system, for the Dibba Al Fujairah Theater. The system debuted at the 7th Fujairah International Monodrama Festival, which hosted musical bands and artists from around the world, in addition to panels, workshops and seminars. The high tech, ultra-light stereo was the ultimate none invasive acoustic solution for the venue with its line array emission wavefront and fast setup and dismantling features. The KR402 consists of a pair of KMT21 21” subs each with 2 channels of 2,000 Watts matched to two KP102 with 3.15″ Neodymium speaker elements. Procom carries the full range of K-array Install, Portable and Concert series and supports the product’s clients with design, commissioning and training on the system. K-array products will be on display and testing at Procom’s showroom. Procom will, also, be holding regular trainings on the equipment during the year.
