Brighton College Dubai

Located in Al Barsha South in a purpose-built campus, Brighton College Dubai provides state-of-the-art facilities and is committed to becoming the leading British curriculum school in the Middle East.

Brighton College hosts annual productions and therefore required an A to Z technical solution for professional AVL equipment along with specialized training and hands-on support for the setup and control of the equipment.

Procom Middle East tailored the ideal solution for this project, applying the highest safety standards for a setup that needed to be mobile and able to function in the different areas of the school.

The audio solution comprised the ultra-light, powered, stereo KR402 system from K-array along with SI Impact Desk and Shure Microphone network.

For entertainment lighting shows and theatrical performances, a variety of fixtures from Cyclops Lighting products were placed. Ten XL-18, four Lede-200spot, four Sparkly Wash 19 and ten CPX-416OB were installed for artistic lighting design. For theatrical lighting, six powerful profiles PR300W were used with 18-38 degree lenses.

For lighting control, both Titan Mobile and Truss splitter from Avolites were used.

For effects, an HZ400 haze machine from Antari was installed to add an artistic touch on the stage.

The whole setup was mounted on 34 SQM stage with adjustable legs and stairs, 4 Eurotruss lifters TL-053 with truss bars and FD33 truss from Eurotruss were installed as the main foundation to the lighting rigs.

For signals and power distribution, 32A main distribution box and three 16A stage boxes were set up.

In order to have a full understanding of the Avolites Titan mobile lighting control and programming installed, Procom provided a 2-days Avolites Academy training for the school staff in its dedicated training center.
