Flavors Grill is a traditional restaurant that offers a culinary experience inspired by using 18th-century techniques. Although the restaurant’s essence is fresh food, flavors & a grill show, the restaurant combines lighting and music to create an elevated dining experience. Flavors Dubai is a four-story venue that requires flawless sound coverage on all floors.
K-array’s lines of speakers were selected for all four floors. The KK52 speakers from the Kobra line were selected because it is easy to use and integrates well with other speakers or amplifiers. The K-array’s high power subwoofers, and the new KS versions 1P and 2P passive subwoofers from the Thunder line were selected because they can provide exceptional lows.
To control and guide the passive speakers, K-array’s Kommander channel amplifiers were integrated into the audio system. The GA201 mini power amplifiers contributed to the system’s sound reinforcement as well.
The control of the restaurant is managed via an iPad with a custom interface. The Symetrix Prism 16×16 allows splitting the venue into many zones.
