Horizon English School

Horizon English School, founded in 1992, is a non-selective, private school in Dubai. It offers English curriculum education for international students from more than 47 countries.

Procom was chosen as the preferred partner in completing the technical upgrades, providing the complete solution, including design, installation, integration, and training. The upgrade was done on the rigging, sound, light, video, power, and control of the latest equipment.

For rigging, and in order to facilitate the installation of the new audio and lighting system, 3 lines of FD34 truss were installed into the ceiling. These were powder coated to match the interior of the venue.

For Audio solution, a Left Center Right installation was completed using three Action-12 cabinets, a 2-way passive full-range loudspeaker from DAS Audio. Along with this, a delay stack of two Action-8 compact two-way passive full-range loudspeakers was installed. Additional Action-8A were set up on the stage as monitors and a selection of two PA-1500 and two PA-2700 amplifiers were used to power the system.

For the lighting installation, the set up was customized in a flexible and functional way to cater to all events. Six FR 40W compact LED fresnels, 2 XL18 and 2 Lede 200Spot from Cyclops Lighting were installed as the front of house units. For the main stage lighting, ten XL18 and two Lede 200Spot were mounted as downlights and specials.

For the main control of the lighting system, Titan One from Avolites was selected.

In addition, Procom reintegrated current projects and screens with new units. Screens were installed on the left, right and center of the stage with the ability to split content individually as needed.
