SĀN beach offers a luxurious indoor culinary experience and a beach retreat featuring outdoor sunbeds facing a large infinity pool, private pools, super cabanas, and views of Dubai’s skyline. SĀN beach wanted to create a beach club experience by integrating excellent audio and lighting throughout the venue.
Two main brands were selected from Procom’s portfolio K-array, and Cyclops Lighting.
The KX12 coaxial speakers from the Dragon series and additional cabinets of the Python and Domino line were selected for this venue. A selection of Python-KP52 passive speakers provided closely-spaced 3.15’’ drivers. In parallel, the KF26 passive speakers were selected, because they are ideal for areas requiring full-range sound reproduction from a single cabinet. Thanks to K-array’s custom paint advantage, all the speakers, subwoofers, and amplifiers were coated in custom white colors with premium outdoor finishes.
The additional sound was provided in the corridors, changing rooms, and restrooms using ceiling speakers from DAS Audio, and the full venue system was controlled by Symetrix Prism 8, a control server, and routed using Blustream’s DA11ADE Dante audio analog decoders.
As for the SĀN beach lighting system, CPX 354 RGB LED Linear wash bars were chosen for outdoors throughout the pergola canopy to add accents of lighting. Aquaray 500 SBW moving heads were incorporated throughout the outdoor areas. These moving heads feature a robust water-resistant build and cast a super-powerful outdoor beam light.
Luna 4 from Madrix was used as an Art-Net node to distribute the signal and was connected to the Avolites T2 titan dongle, both controlling the lighting.
