Loren

Loren is a fine Italian restaurant located above the famous beach destination, SĀN Beach. With a view of the Dubai Marina Skyline and tasty Mediterranean cuisine, Loren offers guests a culinary experience, at the heart of West Palm, Jumeirah.

The Italian restaurant required a sound system that would blend into its chic interior and 1960s and 70s style. Loren selected K-array as the main brand for their main audio installation, because of the products’ sleek and discreet design.

The selection of all-white design speakers included the Python-KP52 passive line array which provides excellent coverage of the entire musical frequency range. In addition to this speaker, the half-meter Kobra-KK52 was selected. The vertical dispersion pattern of this speaker can be switched for wide or narrow coverage, allowing for a great variety of applications.

For the ceiling speakers, Loren selected the GCF8 ceiling speakers by KGEAR. The frameless design grille and great SPL sound distribution are what made them the perfect choice for this venue. 

K-array’s Thunder-KS1 was the chosen subwoofer to reinforce the system. The Thunder-KS1 is perfectly compatible with the other speakers. This self powered Thunder subwoofer with DSP is designed to be the core device in K-array sound reinforcement systems. 

The complete system was powered and processed using KA68 and KA104 amplifiers, controlled via Symetrix prism 8×8, and manually manageable using Symetrix Arc-3 flexible wall panel controller.
