Clay’s dining experience is one of the main highlights of the Bahrain food scene, offering high-end Japanese-Peruvian dining. After two successful years, it’s bringing the Japenese-Peruvian taste to Dubai with the brand new opening of Clay Dubai, found on Bluewaters Island.

When Clay Bahrain partnered with Procom, they needed a sleek and discreet sound system, and K-array was the premium choice to compliment the luxurious design of the lounge while maintaining the integrity of the sound profile required for the upbeat venue which hosts both DJ’s and Bands regularly.

The interior of the venue demanded a powerful yet harmonious audio distribution in order to provide upbeat music in a modern-traditional setting. For the bar area, a selection of KX12’s and KMT21P’s were installed, offering entertainment music levels. An Action-M512A was the DJ monitor of choice. As for the lounge, it was fitted out with K-array’s KP52 column speakers and DAS Audio’s Q10 subwoofers, powered by GA48L amplifiers.

Two outdoor terraces with breath-taking sea views were fitted out with KF26 units.

To complete the music experience, CL-8 ceiling speakers and GF6 speakers were used for the entrance and washrooms. The system was powered by GA201 amplifiers.

Complete venue control was integrated using Symetrix Prism, xOUT 12 and a Control Server. A custom user interface was designed for the venue requirements. The DJ booths were linked to the central control through DA11AU and DA11A from Blustream.
