Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi

Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi produced one of their largest spectacular winter shows: The nutquacker. A theatrical play that takes you on a magical journey through classic Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck tales, among other well-known stories. The Nutquacker live show featured a holiday-themed musical approach with audio, projection mapping, and special effects.

What better way to create a magical winter wonderland atmosphere than with special stage effects, eye-catching and vibrant lighting and colors, and a sound system that delivers music and theatrical performances with clarity and nuance.

Procom Middle East supplied the show with audio, lighting, effects, and power distribution to power all the equipment while East West Events handled the full installation for Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi.

K-array was the brand of choice for the show’s sound integration. A selection of Kayman KY102 3D line-array speakers were used along with the multitasking self-powered subwoofers Thunder-KMT18 and Thunder-KMT12, and a selection of Anakonda KAN 200+ flexible array speakers.

To light up the scene, a number of Cyclops Lighting fixtures were used including the Sparkly LED600P, 800W and CPX 436IP. The stage and all the steps were covered with neon lights and pixel effects using pixineon and pixistrips. The perfect control desk for this lighting setup was the Avolites arena, which is ideal for theaters and large spaces. In addition to this, the Madrix Luna 16, 8 and 4 were connected to the desk, for a smoothless network distribution.

Magical effect machines by Antari were installed across the stage. The HZ-500 haze machine, the F-4 faze machine, the DNG-250 low-fog generator as well as the Z-1520 RGB fog machine that not only generates fog effects, but also has 22 RGB bright LED colors built-in. 

To power the whole installation, two main distribution boxes were used from Power Distros: The MD63-261RCD and MD63-262RCD, alongwith specialized cables designed for stages and rigs.
