Polyester round slings equipped with a steel wire rope instead of the regular polyester lining. Soft steel lined round slings are used for lifting and rigging when abrasive materials such as chains or wire rope could damage the load.

When installed, it does not need any additional safety device.The MODE FACTOR, i.e. the way a round sling is used, should always be considered when calculating rigging capacities. For this reason and owing to their susceptibility to shear, round slings have a coefficient of 7 (EN 1492-2).
