Emirates Palace is one of the landmarks in Abu Dhabi. The destination includes some of the top venues for weddings, special events, and conferences. This includes an auditorium with an impressive rigging and lighting rig that needed maintenance, testing and a new lease of life.
Procom was called to inspect the trusses, rigging points and hardware and take the necessary actions to get the system to international safety standards. For that, 28 x C1 Chain Hoists along their rigging points and hanging hardware, were serviced and checked, and a load test for each hoist. As for the lighting, it consisted of Selecon Pacific Profile spots and ADB Fresnels, both were inspected and repaired as required.
