Middle East:
Dubai-based Extreme Productions has invested in Green Hippo’s Hippotizer MEUSE MX Series Media Servers, reportedly making it the first rental house to do so in the Middle East. Through the move, the platform is now available to designers, programmers and production teams across the region.
Founded in Jordan in 1997, Extreme Productions now operates across Dubai, Riyadh and Amman, serving clients including Amazon, Microsoft, MBC Group and Publicis Live. Over nearly three decades, the company has contributed to a range of significant events in the region, from high-profile government summits and international sporting ceremonies to landmark concerts, brand activations and large-scale cultural celebrations.
According to Extreme Productions, the choice to invest in the MEUSE MX Series was spurred by the rise in scale and technical sophistication in productions in the Middle East. “We need tools that match the ambition of this market,” noted Vincenzo Testa, partner and technical director at Extreme Productions. “The MEUSE MX gives our clients access to the highest level of media server performance, right here in the region. That’s a gamechanger for the productions we’re delivering.”
Tom Etra, senior sales manager for Green Hippo, added: “This is an important milestone for both companies. Having MEUSE available through Extreme Productions significantly expands the visibility and accessibility of the MX Series in one of the fastest-growing production markets in the world. Their track record and client relationships make them the ideal partner to bring this technology to the region.”
The purchase was facilitated by the manufacturer’s local distributor, Procom Middle East. It was noted that Procom has played an integral role in Green Hippo’s regional expansion, providing distribution, local market expertise and dedicated technical support to ensure that customers across the Middle East have direct access to both the technology and the knowledge required to deploy it successfully.
