“The Venue” gets new Sound System with DAS Audio

The Venue, Royal Catering’s multi-functional events hall, previously Allure club and one of the most elegant spots located at the heart of Abu Dhabi- Yas Island, had its outdoor space sound system revamped with DAS Audio. The sound system consists of around 20 Artec 508 compact speakers with a single 8C woofer and M-34 compression driver for highs. The system was designed for short throw and high dispersion to accommodate the outdoor mezzanine space. "Royal Catering’s commitment to a great guest experience puts emphasis on the sound systems it deploys at its venues" said Hussein Hamieh General Manager for business development and outlets at Royal Catering. The system was supplied and installed by Procom ME the Dubai based distributor of DAS Audio. “Despite the short notice, Procom’s team delivered the venue on time with excellent execution” Hamieh added. The installation came on time for the exclusive event celebrating this year's 2014 Formula One Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on November 2014. “The Venue” terrace which overlooks the Formula one circuit hosted guests for an ultimate VIP Formula experience. The versatility of the new sound system is a part of offering a truly multi-functional use at “The Venue”, allowing for background music, live performances and club music.
